Planted in Love, Grown in Grace

A heartfelt thank-you to those who make the journey to the Catholic Church so beautiful.

Dear Friends in Christ,

I just want to take a moment to speak from the heart and thank each of you—my fellow workers in the vineyard of the Lord—who have poured so much love, time, prayer, and energy into making the OCIA/RCIA process such a grace-filled journey for so many.

Having had the privilege of working closely with an RCIA team, I’ve witnessed firsthand the dedication it takes to walk with those who are seeking Christ, those longing to come home to the Catholic Church. You have offered your evenings, your weekends, your wisdom, and most importantly, your hearts. You’ve been there through the questions, the tears, the joys, and the quiet, sacred moments of transformation. And I want you to know—none of it goes unnoticed by Heaven.

You may never fully see this side of eternity how deeply your “yes” to this ministry has changed lives. But I’ve seen it. In the quiet joy of someone lighting their baptismal candle. In the tears of someone receiving the Eucharist for the very first time. In the peace on the faces of those who have finally found home in Christ’s Church. And you were part of that.

The Keepsake

This year, as a small but meaningful way to make your efforts last in the lives of our newly initiated, I’m encouraging us to give each one a beautiful acrylic block keepsake—a reminder of the sacred day they were welcomed into the Church. It’s something they can display at home, a physical token of their spiritual birth, and a reminder of the love and care that surrounded them on that journey. I hope it becomes a symbol of everything they’ve received and a sign of how much we continue to walk with them, even as they step into this next chapter.

Let’s also keep praying—not only for those who are about to enter the Church this Easter—but for all those the Holy Spirit is quietly stirring right now. Fall will be here before we know it, and with it, a new group of seekers and future saints. May we be ready to greet them with the same love and joy we’ve shown before.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It’s an honor to serve alongside each of you. May God bless you abundantly for the work you do for His Church.

With love and prayers,

MARBELL
